15U FAST PITCH SOFTBALL (Ages 13-15)
15U Softball offers advanced fast pitch softball skills in a competitive atmosphere for girls 13-15 years of age as of September 1st.
Advanced field management continues.
- A base runner may steal 2nd base, 3rd base and home plate
- Dropped 3rd strike rule applies
Bases are 60 feet with the pitching distance 43 feet.
9 players are permitted on defense, 3 are outfielders, no player can sit the bench for two consecutive innings.
There is no restriction on the number of innings a pitcher can pitch.
Games are 7 innings with a 10-run rule after 5 innings.
All rules revert to ASA Official Softball Rules.
The 15U fast pitch division will play in the Chartiers Valley Communities (CVC) league. Teams in the west division can include North Fayette, Findlay, South Fayette, Midway, Weirton WV, Burgettstown, Avella, and Robinson Twp.
All practices and home games will be held at the Brewer Front Field (Moon Park), the Brewer Back Field (Moon Park), Devenzio Field (Moon Park), or Whispering Woods Field (Spring Run Rd).
Away games will be held at locations of other league participants previously mentioned.
